Plastic Fairytales - Opening

Plastic Fairytales is the first time I've tried my hands at curating a show. The process of proposing and organizing this exhibition at the Concourse Gallery at Emily Carr University was a little stressful having also to balance it with school at the same time, but it was a great learning experience nonetheless.





There was such a big variety of works that were submitted to the show, which made curating them a bit of a challenge. To realize the vision I had for the show, I decided to include everyone.
The energy generated by the works all together was more vibrant than I expected.

Yup.

It was a great show and opening thanks to all the artists that participated and the people that came to see our work.
